How to repair keyboard case edges coming apart. Sugru doesn’t bond.

My keyboard case is coming apart at the edges. I thought I could fix it with sugru but it will not bond with the plastic. This is a genuine Apple keyboard and I am having trouble finding a keyboard compatible with it that is not really over-priced. Has anyone had success with other fixes?
