Background and Identification
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is the first tablet released by Sony. It was released in May of 2013. It is both waterproof and dust resistant.
Sony has since released the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2. The two tablets look fairly similar but it is still easy to differentiate them. The Xperia Z has its speakers on the side of the device whereas the Z2 has its speakers on the front of the device. The Z2 is also much lighter and slimmer than the Z.
