Verbinde das USB-A zu USB-C Kabel zuerst mit deinem Computer und dann mit deinem Apple TV HD.
Verbinde das Apple TV HD mit dem Stromkabel. Die weiße LED fängt mit langsamer Frequenz an zu blinken.
Da das Apple TV HD nicht in allen Fällen von allein unter "Orte" im Finder auftaucht, musst du folgenden Trick anwenden:
Drücke auf der Apple TV Fernbedienung die "Menu" und "Play" Taste für ungefähr 10 Sekunden gleichzeitig. Die Frequenz der blinkenden LED erhöht sich spürbar.
Das Apple TV HD taucht nun unter "Orte" im Finder auf.
Du kannst nun mit der Wiederherstellung & Aktualisierung fortfahren. Dein Computer lädt nun die Software runter und führt eine Wiederherstellung bei dem Apple TV HD durch.

Since the Apple TV HD doesn't show up on its own under Places in Finder in all cases, you'll need to do the following trick:

On the Apple TV remote, press the "Menu" and "Play" buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. The blinking of the white LED will increase noticeably.

You can now proceed with the restore & update process. Your computer will start downloading downloading the software and perform a restore on the Apple TV HD.
