Does your JBL Charge 3 no longer hold a charge for as long as it used to? Does it not charge at all? JBL Charge 3 speakers are susceptible to a range of problems that could cause them to stop charging or lose charge quickly. Check the following possible causes to identify and solve the problem.
Faulty Battery
If your JBL Charge 3’s battery is not charging or unexpectedly turns off, it may have a faulty battery. Before replacing the speaker’s battery, check to make sure that the speaker has not been left in abnormal temperatures, such as near a stove or fireplace. Abnormal temperatures can cause the device to lose battery power more quickly than normal. If the battery issues continue, use the JBL Charge 3 Battery Replacement guide to replace the speaker’s faulty battery.
Faulty Charging Port
If your JBL Charge 3 still refuses to charge after replacing the battery, it may have a faulty charging port. To replace the speaker’s charging port, use the JBL Charge 3 Port Bay Replacement guide.
