how to fix my display appear horizontal line, tq

Mr. G - Yanıt

So I’m trying to fix this lap top the light turns on the side where you plug but the left side and key board only turn on for a sec and then back off over and over. nothings working… I noticed on the Wi-Fi card the white wire broke off the chip so I took it off and then touch it on a ground screw on the mother board and the left light stays solid finally but not screen or keyboard light on though.

Common fault is also the USB C daughter board and even the power button board.

If it charges but fails to turn on, power button board can be the culprit.
If it doesn't charge consistently (like it will only power on or charge if you remove power for some time and plug back in), it may be a sign the power in daughter board is bad.

If it powers on but doesn't display, pretty much usually the motherboard - but just press the caps lock key to make sure it's not posting - to be safe.
