Background
The Galaxy S24, released in 2024, is part of the fifteenth generation of flagship smartphones released by Samsung as part of their Galaxy S line at an MSRP of $800. It is available in four standard colors (Cobalt Violet, Amber Yellow, Onyx Black, Marble Grey) and three online exclusive colors (Sapphire Blue, Jade Green and Sandstone Orange) and included a SIM tool and USB Type C-to-C cable in the box. Its most notable change from its predecessor, the Galaxy S23, is an increase in peak screen brightness and increased Android update commitment (four years vs seven).
Identification
The S24 can be identified by model number SM-S921U1. This can be found on the box, the sticker applied to the phone's back panel when new, or in the phone's settings under Settings > About Phone if the device is functional.
