No matter what you do, you can’t get your speakers to turn on.

If your speaker won't turn on, it is possible that it is not plugged in. If you check and make sure that the speaker is completely plugged into both the USB port and the device itself correctly, then your device should turn on.

One reason you may be experiencing difficulty getting any sound from your speaker could be due to a loose AUX cord. If your cord is not completely plugged in, then you will not be able to hear any audio, be sure to push the AUX cord into the audio jack until it cannot be pushed any further to ensure a proper connection.

Chances are if you cannot hear anything from your speaker, it is because of the volume settings from your device being used to play the music. To correct this problem, check the volume levels on your device by slowly turning it up until you hear sound.

If after your device is completely plugged in, the volume is definitely on, and you are still unable to hear any sound from the speaker, then it is likely you have a damaged USB cord. The best option in this case is to replace the USB cord.

If your aux cord is completely plugged in but you still cannot hear sound unfortunately you may have a bad cord which will need to be replaced. To ensure that it is broken attempt using it on a different working speaker, if still no sound is produced then you will need to buy a new cord.

Your audio sounds louder from one speaker than the other, or only one speaker is working

The first thing you should do is check the devices sound settings. Some devices have the option to play the audio on one speaker louder than the other( left or right). If this option is set then it is possible that there is no audio at all sent to one of the two speakers. To fix this set the left and right balance option to its middle position, effectively sending the same amplitude of sound to each speaker.

If your device’s sound settings are balanced and one speaker is still not outputting any audio, then you should check your aux connection. Aux cords have a tendency to break due to wear and tear over time. Wiggling and turning the aux cord can cause a temporary fix to this problem. Another important thing to check is that nothing is obstructing the connection between the device and the aux cord. Examples of these obstructions could be, USB’s plugged into your computer or a phone case that won't allow the aux to be plugged in completely.

If your devices sound settings are balanced and fidgeting the aux cord becomes useless to solving the issue, then it's time for a new aux cord. The internal wiring of the aux cord is fragile and if any wires touch together it causes an electrical short. An electrical short means there's not much else that can be done to fix the issue. Your speakers have power and sound is coming out, but the sound is distorted.

Check to make sure that the audio cord is fully plugged into the port on your phone or computer. Also make sure that the ends of the cord are fully plugged into each speaker. If you're certain that the cord is fully connected to everything, try the next step.

Check to make sure there are no physical defects on the AUX and USB cord. Some examples of defects would be cuts or breaks in the cord, or a broken jack at the end of the cord. If there are any defects, you could try to repair them using the AUX/USB cord repair guide. Otherwise, it will need to be replaced. If there are no physical defects, try using the cord with a different working device to determine the source of the problem. If the cord works with another device, then the problem is in your speaker. If the cord produces the same problem with another device, then your cord is likely the problem and you should consider replacing it.

Your USB is plugged into the power source, but the speakers are not receiving power.

Make sure that the cord is securely plugged in on both ends and that there is no dirt or other objects obstructing the cords from being plugged in.

If you made sure that the cable has a good connection you might want to try plugging a different device into the USB port to see if the USB port is broken.

If the USB port is not broken then maybe your cord is broken, to test this plug the device into a different USB port and see if the device holds a charge.
