The rotors either need to be turned (machined straight) or replaced.

The vehicle makes loud knocking noises. Engine vibration is greater than normal.

The engine air filter is dirty and needs to be replaced or cleaned.

The spark plugs are worn and failing to spark consistently. They need to be

replaced.

The tires may have worn unevenly, and need to be rotated.

The alignment may be off from center, or has shifted slightly. The wheels must be realigned.

A wheel bearing may be loose, causing a wheel to wobble and the car to drive inconsistently. The bearing should be replaced.

There is little or no resistance when pushing on the pedal.

The break lines could be damaged and leaking or the fittings are loose. To check have someone push repetitively on pedal while another is under the car listening for leak. It should make a gurgling or spitting sound.

The master cylinder (at the pedal) or slave cylinder (one at each wheel) could be defective and have fluid bypassing the plunger. This is difficult to detect and should be brought to a mechanic.

If the vehicle makes a clicking noise when key is turned then the battery is most likely dead. Replace or charge the battery. Check the battery replacement guide for more information.

If one distinct loud click is heard when the key is turned then the starter solenoid may be broken. Replace solenoid, part number found in vehicle owners manual.

If no noise is heard when the key is turned the battery is disconnected. Check for corrosion on battery leads or if the leads became loose.
